Il Ministero della Salute  già nel 2007  ha reso disponibile per tutti gli operatori sanitari un glossario per la sicurezza dei pazienti e per la gestione del rischio clinico, elaborato da esperti, che hanno tenuto conto dei documenti fino ad oggi prodotti su tale tematica a livello nazionale ed internazionale. Quello che riproponiamo è l'ultimo glossario che pur essendo del 2013 è ancora oggi poco conosciuto. This engaging game aims at supporting children aged 8-12 — along with involving their parents and teachers — in initiating active mediation of digital technology. Quiz questions embedded in the game on use of the internet, social networks and online games are designed to prompt discussion between players and empower them to be responsible and safe when using digital media. The game presents key messages about children's use, overuse and misuse of the internet, together with risks such as cyberbullying. Many products require CE marking before they can be sold in the  EEA  ( EU + Iceland, Lichtenstein and Norway). CE marking proves that your product had been assessed and meets EU safety, health and environmental protection requirements. It is valid for products manufactured both inside and outside the EEA, that are then marketed inside the EEA. To affix the CE marking to your product, you must put together a technical dossier proving that your product fulfils all the EU-wide requirements. As the product's manufacturer, you bear sole responsibility for declaring conformity with all requirements. Using injectable, fast absorbing sponges, the Stat can seal wounds in 15 seconds or less, potentially saving lives. XStat® is a first-in-kind hemostatic device for the treatment of gunshot and shrapnel wounds. XStat works by injecting a group of small, rapidly-expanding sponges into a wound cavity using a syringe-like applicator. Each sponge contains an x-ray detectable marker. In the wound, the XSTAT sponges expand and swell to fill the wound cavity within 20 seconds of contact with blood. La cannula aspira saliva tradizionale come noto ha almeno tre grossi problemi: 1 l'aspirazione  provoca  frequentemente  il ferimento dei tessuti molli del paziente a causa dell'aspirazione di questi o a causa della fuoriuscita del filo metallico dal tubo; 2 la capacità di aspirazione in molti casi è insufficiente; 3 se si vuole un'aspirazione accettabile nel punto esatto in cui serve, o semplicemente affinché non cada dalla bocca, l'assistente, o il dentista, deve mantenere in posizione la cannula, si trova così con una mano occupata e di conseguenza non può svolgere agevolmente altre funzioni. Un altro grosso problema è la sterilità. La cannula aspira saliva monouso è venduta "pulita", cioè non sterile,   non disinfettata. E' confezionata in sacchetti di plastica contenenti solitamente almeno 100pz tutti insieme. La cannula aspira saliva monouso è fabbricata in PVC, un materiale che non è sterilizzabile in autoclave. From the 27th of November to the 2nd of December took place the 91st edition of Greater New York Dental Meeting (GNYDM) by Jacobs Javist Convention center in New York. D al 27 Novembre al 2 Dicembre presso il Jacobs K. Javist Convention center di New York si è svolta la novantunesima edizione del Greater New York Dental Meeting (GNYDM). The meeting and the exposition had a large participation of national and international visitors as well as exhibitors. Il meeting espositivo e congressuale ha visto una numerosissima partecipazione di visitatori nazionali, internazionali e di espositori.
