1. Premessa Nel campo degli strumenti dentali manuali in questi ultimi anni abbiamo osservato una assenza di novità utili all’odontoiatra e alla sua equipe. Qualche modifica geometrica alle punte lavoranti, varianti alle geometrie delle impugnature, impiego di diversi materiali di costruzione, qualche variazione nelle forme e ritenzioni dei manici, ma niente di più. 2. L’uovo di colombo La crisi, il calo della richiesta di mercato, i costi di fabbricazione, molteplici fattori hanno contribuito a non spingere verso grandi novità. Un azienda italiana ha presentato un manico che rompe gli schemi di quelli esistenti. Con un occhio rivolto alla sicurezza dell’odontoiatra, assistente, igienista, ha realizzato un manico semplicemente di lunghezza superiore rispetto ai manici esistenti oggi sul mercato.
