We will nevertheless attempt to simplify the argument by providing a brief overview of some of the main types of face bows and other systems for adjusting the movements of the mandible, which are used for programming the dental articulator. Publication no. 6, entitled Basic aspects of the articulator , showed how the articulator is used to replicate the movements of the mandible.
