This study was conducted with two objectives in mind: 1)To determine the effect of 100% humidity on bond strength; 2)To determine the efficacy of rubber dam and a new isolation device (Isolite by Isolitesystem - USA) onreducing intra-oral humidity levels. The study concluded that under the conditions of this study, application of the dentin bonding agent and placement of the composite resin in the presence of high humidity significantly reduced the mean bond strength to dentin.
